This year’s HAJET Foodie Fundraiser gave participants a taste of the Indian subcontinent, with foods, fun, and music to match. A family-friendly night of cultural exchange and good eats included buffet-style dining consisting of Indian curries and desserts Bollywood music henna tattooing, fortune-telling, photo booth silliness and traditional Indian festival games. All proceeds go towards Hokkaido English Challenge (HEC) an annual 4-day English camp organized by HAJET to give Junior and Senior High School students from all around Hokkaido an English immersion experience without having to leave the island.
