This year’s northern welcome party was fun to say the least! Everyone started arriving around 5 pm to set up their tents and to start catching up and or meeting our new ALT’s in the region. Even if it was a little dark, they seemed to be enjoying themselves throughout the evening. The weather was a little unpredictable when it came to the rain, but mother nature was nice enough to let us have our fun with little to no rain. Supper included Mexican soup, chips, salsa, and homemade guacamole with plenty of leftovers for seconds. I think my favorite part of the evening though was the HEC games. We had a beer pong tournament which was not only fun to play, but hilarious to watch. It was definitely a memorable event for me. I hope for others to of had the same experience and for them to look forward to next year’s party.
