This year’s Southwestern Welcome Party takes us camping at beautiful Lake Toya on the Uchiura Bay. 🏞
Situated above a volcanic caldera in the Shikotsu-Toya National Park, Lake Toya is said to be the the second clearest lake in Japan (second to Lake Mashu in eastern Hokkaido) and is the northernmost lake in Japan not to freeze throughout the winter. 🚣♀️With numerous walking trails, foot baths, natural onsens, museums and more, there’s something for everyone at one of the most beautiful spots on our island. ☺️
We’re looking forward to bringing together new and veteran members of our community at this party, and hope to see you there! 👋🐊
